This week I read Tomorrow Girls by Eva Gates.

There are four books to the Tomorrow Girls series. this week I will be reviewing book one Behind the Gates.

country manor school isn’t perfect. the girls’ roommates are tough to get along with, and the school is hard work. still, Louisa loves CMS-the survival skills , the fresh air. she doesn’t mind having no TV, or the internet, or any contact with home. it’s for their safety after all.

my summary is:

Louisa’s life has gotten better. she now has a twin sister-her own best friend! Maddie, her best friend, had to move in with her because both of her parents had gone to fight in the war. so now they had her ID bracelet information changed so it looked like she was her twin, and now their off to CMS aka Country Manor School, where they will “travel back in time” to our age.

but things start to go wrong. all the girls have their phones taken away as well as their electronics. then they have their jewelry taken away. Finally, the most astonishing their identity bracelets which they had been told could never be taken away.

Here’s what I like about this book:

doesn’t show communities with a controlled life. it shows a more realistic life style with real things that could happen or are happening. Example: more drastic weather.
