This week I read Grape Bubblegum by Beth Bowland. Here is a summary:
Beatrice Peppercorn has a few dreams: finish her final year in middle school, get her cutie-pie crush’s heart, get a spelling bee championship trophy – sounds simple right? That’s when she gets a new student in her class and her arch nemesis tells everyone that her crush will be her boyfriend that year.
When hair dye goes wrong, falsies escape during pep rallies, and friends make mistakes can Beatrice’s 8th-grade year be saved?
This is what I like about this book:
This book made me laugh when Beatrice’s crush held his party at an arcade place and they had a laser-tag compatation. This book also made me sad when Beatrice caught her crush kissing her nemesis.
Next week I’m going to read: Michaela’s Gift by Cordelia Dinsmore.
Thank you, Gaea! 🙂 I’m looking forward to reading your future reviews!
Your welcome Beth!!! 🙂
This sounds like a great book, Gaea! I love books that take you across the spectrum of happy and sad.
Your very welcome Clarissa!!:)!
Fun review, Gaea! Beth Bowland’s books sounds like an emotional roller coaster! Cheers, gals!
Thanks Shannon
True, but interesting, as are many of your blogs.
I read through the past entries over the past week, and I
must say I think I’m in love.
Thanks
