• During her collage years, she published her 1st 2 novels: A SMALL RAIN and ISLA

• She met her husband—Hugh Franklin when she was the understudy in Anton Chekov’s The Cherry Orchard

• They were married in The Joyous Season

• She had a baby girl and moved to Connecticut

• 9 years later they moved back to the city with 3 children

• She received 26 awards
